RAIDERS FIRST ROUND

The Raiders with the 4th overall pick drafted Clemson's DE Clelin Ferrell a player projected to be a middle first round pick. The Raider had the least amount of sacks in the league this last year. He is consisted a high character guy. He was red shirted his freshman year in college due to a torn ACL in high school. His 3 years in college he did not miss a game and had 27 sacks. Last year he tallied up 11.5 sacks during the National Championship run for Clemson. This may not be what Raiders fans want at the number 4 pick BUT this may be what the Raiders need a good piece to help with sacks and a high character guy to collect the big pay check for a high first round pick. He shows no quit and has a good work ethic in college and a strong family with a military background. This type of behavior can be a contagious for a locker room in the NFL. He was number #2 on the Raiders draft board 2nd to only Nick Bosa.

The Raiders with the 24th pick select running back Josh Jacobs form Alabama. He is tough player that played his sophomore year of college on a broken ankle for a majority of the season. He was MVP of the SEC Championship game with 83 yards and 2 touchdowns. He was definitely not over ran in college only running the ball 251 times for 1491 yards. He averaged while rushing the ball 5.9 yards per carrier. His final season he Ran the ball 120 times for 640 yards and 11touchdowns. We cant for get this is a passing league and he also had 20 receptions for 247 yards and 3 touchdown. Jacobs should be another immediate impact for the Raiders as Lynch is retiring and Doug Martin not being resigned. I will be looking forward to seeing Jacobs let louse.

The Raider selected with the 27th pick safety Johnathan Abram. He started off his career with the Georgia Bulldogs and transferred out his freshman year and would eventually become a Mississippi State Bulldog. he had an excellent senior season as a safety in 13 games he had 53 solo tackles and 46 assisted tackles giving him a total of 99 tackles for the season 9 of those tackles came for a loss and he also had 3 sacks on the year. He had 2 interceptions on the season with 1 forced fumble. He should be a good addition to a team the was the 3 worst team in the league when it came to stuffing the run.

GAME 7 END GAME FOR THE KNIGHTS

Game 7 was a faceoff between the Knights and the Sharks that solidified a rivalry that's been building.  The Knights started out a minute 58 into the game with a Colin Miller hooking call to put the Sharks on a early power play. The Knights PK held the Sharks to no shots. 19 seconds after the Knights came through on the PK McNabb was called for a weak crosscheck to put the Sharks right back on the power play. The Knight's PK and MAF came through in a team effort to kill off the penalty. With just over 10minutes into the 1st William Karlsson scored the first goal on a nice little chip-in goal assisted by Reilly Smith and Marchessault. The Knights went on their first PP of the game but momentum was cut short by Tuch with an interference on Braun. It was weak call as Tuch was getting back on sides a barely bumped Braun. The Sharks took their time with the puck on the 4 on 4 to get to their power play. The Knights PK came through again. The Period ended 1-0 Knights. The sec...
