SMALL LOOK AHEAD

A quick look as the Vegas Golden Knights faceoff against the Arizona Coyotes. The Coyotes are in the hunt for the final playoff spot in the Western Conference. They will have to win their last two games and the Avs will have to lose their next two. Both the Yotes and the Avs will be facing playoff teams trying to keep accumulating points just in case they make it to the Western Conference Finals for home ice advantage. Yotes & the Avs both will play the Winnipeg Jets. The Avs will finish their season against the Sharks.

The Knights should be looking to finish off the season with 97 points. These are important points if the Knights plan on making a deep run into the playoffs. It can help out tremendously. If the Knights happen to make it to the Western Conference Finals again and they have more points then the teams highlighted down below they will have home ice advantage. at that point in the playoff this would be a huge relief for the Knights especially when it comes traveling long distance.

X- Winnipeg Jets       96
X- Nashville Preds    96
X- St. Louis Blues     94
X- Dallas Stars          91
   Colorado Avs         88

X- Calgary Flames   107
X- SJ Sharks             97
X- VGK                    93
 Arizona Coyotes      84

The Knights have sent Max Lagace to the Chicago Wolves which means Vegas will have MAF suited up and hopefully getting some reps in. Also with this being the last home game of the season the Knights will be looking to win especially with an award show taking place on the ice after the game. The Knights held a fan vote for the 7th Player Award between Cody Eakin, Jon Merril, Brandon Pirri, and Ryan Reaves. The results will not be revealed until after the game. There is a poll in Vegas Knights Click on facebook that has Eakin as the clear front runner right now with 113 votes, Ryan Reaves as the runner up with 45 votes, Jon Merril with 7 and Brandon Pirri with 4. Feel free to check out the group using  the links below.

FULL DRAFT FOR THE RAIDERS

The Raiders with the 4th overall pick drafted Clemson's DE Clelin Ferrell a player projected to be a middle first round pick. The Raider had the least amount of sacks in the league this last year. He is consisted a high character guy. He was red shirted his freshman year in college due to a torn ACL in high school. His 3 years in college he did not miss a game and had 27 sacks. Last year he tallied up 11.5 sacks during the National Championship run for Clemson. This may not be what Raiders fans want at the number 4 pick BUT this may be what the Raiders need a good piece to help with sacks and a high character guy to collect the big pay check for a high first round pick. He shows no quit and has a good work ethic in college and a strong family with a military background. This type of behavior can be a contagious for a locker room in the NFL. He was number #2 on the Raiders draft board 2nd to only Nick Bosa. The Raiders with the 24th pick select running back Josh Jacobs form...
