Day 3 of the 2019 NFL Draft kicked off with the Raiders with the 106th pick. The Raiders drafted Maxx Crosby 6'5" 245lbs Defensive End out of Eastern Michigan. Maxx was a redshirt his freshman year and played 37 games over his 3 year career at Eastern Michigan. Maxx had 73 solo tackles 89 assisted, making that a total of 162 tackles. 41 of his tackles came from a loss and he racked up 41 sacks over his 3 year career averaging just over a sack a game. In the 2018 season he had 31 solo tackles 39 assisted giving him a total of 70 tackles on the season. 19 of his tackles came for a loss and he had 7.5 sacks. He finished 4th among DE, LB, and edge rushers in the combines 3-cone drill with official 6.89. The Raiders started off the 2nd day of the draft trading back their 35th pick for a Jacksonville's 38th pick. Also in this trade to Jacksonville the Raiders moved their 140th pick and the 240th pick for Jacksonville's 109th pick. The Raiders traded back once again moving Jacksonville's 38th pick to Buffalo for the Bills 40th and 158th pick getting back their a 5th round pick they traded away in the Jacksonville trade. Game 7 was a faceoff between the Knights and the Sharks that solidified a rivalry that's been building.  The Knights started out a minute 58 into the game with a Colin Miller hooking call to put the Sharks on a early power play. The Knights PK held the Sharks to no shots. 19 seconds after the Knights came through on the PK McNabb was called for a weak crosscheck to put the Sharks right back on the power play. The Knight's PK and MAF came through in a team effort to kill off the penalty. With just over 10minutes into the 1st William Karlsson scored the first goal on a nice little chip-in goal assisted by Reilly Smith and Marchessault. The Knights went on their first PP of the game but momentum was cut short by Tuch with an interference on Braun. It was weak call as Tuch was getting back on sides a barely bumped Braun. The Raiders with the 4th overall pick drafted Clemson's DE Clelin Ferrell a player projected to be a middle first round pick. The Raider had the least amount of sacks in the league this last year. He is consisted a high character guy. He was red shirted his freshman year in college due to a torn ACL in high school. His 3 years in college he did not miss a game and had 27 sacks. Last year he tallied up 11.5 sacks during the National Championship run for Clemson. This may not be what Raiders fans want at the number 4 pick BUT this may be what the Raiders need a good piece to help with sacks and a high character guy to collect the big pay check for a high first round pick. He shows no quit and has a good work ethic in college and a strong family with a military background. This type of behavior can be a contagious for a locker room in the NFL. The 21st match up between these team in quite possibly one of the best games in hockey in a very long time due to a bad call by the refs. The series supervisor  Don Van Massenhoven made a statement on the call not saying his refs were wrong on the call but not saying it was the right call ether instead using the "In their judgement" in his comment on the call. Gallant stated in the press conference that this loss felt worse then losing the Stanley Cup last year.    Don Van Massenhoven the series supervisor released a statement on the penalty stating "The Referees called a crosschecking penalty for infraction that caused a significant injury. In their judgment, the infraction and it's results merited a major penalty"

The Knights came into the night starting the original 3 Smith Karlsson and Marchessault. The Sharks scored their only goal in regulation with 9 seconds left in the 1st period. The goal came off a major error from Engelland when he pulled off the back check to pressure the puck on a hundred foot pass across the ice. Meier got a hold of the puck getting into the offensive zone for the Sharks giving Couture the open lane to the net. Couture drew MAF out the crease which gave Couture the glove side with 9 seconds left in the period. Meier was the only Shark credited with the assist due to Engellands efforts on the play. The Sharks had 9 SOG, 9 hits, 6 blocked shots, 5 takeaways and 1giveaways. The Knights ended the period with 10 SOG, 25 hits, 5 blocked shots, 3 takeaways, and 3 giveaways.
